Cannabis is really an emotional magnifier. The plant really helps us get in touch with ourselves on a deeper level. The plant magnifies our emotions, the plant helps us hear our thoughts more clearly and recognize our thought patterns and at the same time the plant also connects us more deeply to our soul into the divine and so we have a stronger experience of love and stronger experience of intuition as well when we’re working with this plant and often a stronger experience of creativity but in order to have that stronger experience of deeper connection with our soul we sometimes have to make room in our psyche and this is the part of our psyche we call the ego.

So I lead ganja ceremonies for healing purposes for spiritual purposes and a woman came to my ceremony one time and she’s very sensitive she’s very conscious she’s very much intuitive and she’s also a reiki healer and she had not had a lot of experience with cannabis. She just really wanted to try having a stronger experience in a safe environment so that’s why she came. So she smoked and at first she thought well this is nice, this is really fun and then she smoked some more and then she said I think I smoke too much, I don’t I don’t feel good you know and i said to her, well what really happened is you smoked more than you’re comfortable with. You’re safe, you’re physically safe and you’re just out of your comfort zone and that’s great. What a great opportunity to experience being out of your comfort zone and that’s really what it is so when we are approaching this plant and it might be a stronger strain than you have prior experience with or it might just be a strain that that impacts us different from how we were expecting or for whatever reason we have a different experience, the best thing to do is embrace it, embrace it in that moment. To resist whatever experience we’re having, even if its own experience inside of ourselves, is going to come heighten discomfort.

Start with technically what is happening. I just seeing what is happening, I am feeling uncomfortable right now and I don’t like it or my stomach is feeling tight right now and I’m not comfortable with that, my heart is beating faster than I’d like right now and I’m not comfortable with that, my thoughts are disorganized and I don’t like that. Yeah name it and then be okay with it because you have no choice. It’s is very much a temporary sensation but you have we have no choice and this is good. We have no choice about how we’re feeling is what I’m saying, we have a choice about how we react to the way that we are feeling. We have a choice about how we react to the situation that were in. The choice is are we going to resist it and get upset about where are, or are we going to embrace it and decide to be in our power. The moment we decide to accept what’s happening we’re in our power and then we can access the gift.
